Where to go?

There are many places to visit in Purulia which take several days to complete the tour. However, if 3 is three, you can visit all the places. If you want to reach Purulia by train or bus and rent a car, you can follow the map given below (Map 1–3). And if you have your car, you can do it the way we did (Map 4).

Purulia places are divided into two types, the Ayodhya hill circuit, and the average circuit. The Ayodhya hill area is located south/southwest of Purulia town. And the average circuit is located north/northeast of the city of Purulia. Here’s an idea of my tour, but you can share it as you like.

Day 1 — Average circuit

Arrive at Purulia town and take the hotel to the taxi stand or the post office. As a result, you will get a place to eat here and you will be able to take a taxi from here. Bargaining is done here with car rental. Get out of the car early in the morning for an average circuit and try to get around the following places as much as possible. However, if you go around all the places, you will not be able to spend much time anywhere. As a result, you have to decide for yourself whether to travel in less time or in more time. It takes 2 days to rotate the average circuit well.

>Kashipur Rajbari: is associated with the history of Michael Madhusudhan Dutt. Michael once worked in this palace. The Panchkot royal family ruled Kashipur for about 600 years and the palace was built by Maharaja Nilmoni Singh Deo / Singh. It took about 10 years to build this palace. This palace is associated with the history of Purulia. Remember that this palace is open to the public during Durga Puja. As a result, if you go here another time, you will not be able to enter.

>Joychandi hill: is one of the attractions of Purulia. Joychandi Hills is located just 2 km away from Joychandi Railway Station. You can also reach here from Adra station. The film was shot in the land of Ray’s Diamond King on this hill. Also, several more photo shoots have been done here. Joychandi temple and Bajrang temple are on this hill. There are stairs to climb this hill, but if you want to go up, you will need to climb the 503 stairs. As a result, keep water and light food/chocolate with you when you get up here. Joy Agarwal and Om Prakash Agarwal, famous businessmen of the area, built the stairs at their own expense. Joychandi has arrangements to stay in a government guest house.

>The Garhpanchkot: The temple was part of the Singh Deo kingdom. These temples were damaged by bullets and most of them were destroyed. There are still some remnants of those temples. This is a must-have, for any Affiliate, promoting any program. There are many hotels here so you can get lunch or lunch. The distance from Purulia town to Garhpanchkot is 55 kilometers.

>Panchet Dam: Panchet Dam is located just 18 km away from Garh Panchkot. This dam is located on the border of two states, West Bengal and Jharkhand. Dhanbad is a little far from now. You can also visit this dam by visiting Panchkot on average.

>Baranti / Baranti: At the foot of the hill is Baranti Lake. Baranti hills are located on the south side of the lake. People mistakenly think of the hill on the northwest side of the lake as Baranti hill which is actually wrong. The hill in the picture below is another hill. There are many hotels near Baranti Lake where you can stay. The sunset at Baranti Lake is truly impeccable.
